Meet Dennis, Isaar, Mohammed, and Brantel – four of the seven passionate trainers being trained by Sabomnim Andreas Held in Kenya. They are a vibrant group representing the first batch of YU Charity Kenya, symbolizing hope, resilience, and the desire for good.

These dedicated and courageous trainers have chosen to rise above the challenges and work towards having a brighter future for themselves and their communities. YU Charity Kenya is sowing these seeds for long-term transformations.

Our Vision for YU Charity Kenya
More than a project, the YU Charity Kenya initiative is a mission to uplift lives. Here’s how:

Knowledge Sharing Across Borders: During the initial phase, we focus on knowledge. The dedicated trainers will get a wonderful exposure to acquire advanced taekwondo training lessons from YU Taekwondo masters in Austria. This invaluable knowledge and experience will empower them to enhance their skills and create a ripple effect of growth within their home communities.

Building a Sustainable Future: Back in Kenya, the trainers can acquire sustainability lessons to lead a self sufficient life through farming and chicken farming. They can learn the basics of farming on shared land. From raising chickens to small-scale farming, they will acquire skills to establish sustainable livelihoods as a part of th programme.

Creating a Stable Foundation
The most exciting part is yet to come! We do not plan to stop there. We envision to acquire land which is intended to build a sweet and small home for each trainer. This will provide shelter and a sense of independence and stability, giving them a solid foundation to thrive.
The objective is to provide homes beyond homes.
We look forward and strive to foster a community of trainers and their families, supporting each other while creating a better future. In doing so, the foundation of YU Charity Kenya lays a pathway for opportunities to go hand in hand with dignity.
